The most honest and cost effective repair shop around here. Very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable staff who don't recommend things unless you need them.

Had heard good things about these folks thru conversation with someone while waiting for an inspection, in another town. When daughter's VW front driver power window completely failed, called them up. After conversing, took it there for repair. Work was completed as scheduled. Overall, can not think of a complaint about the whole experience.

They figured out an electrical issue that another mechanic was unable to resolve. The only reason I refrained from giving 5 stars is Pete gave me an out the door price (total) on the phone, however, when I came to pick up the vehicle and was presented with the bill, it was 15% higher than promised. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.

These guys are the BEST in town. They got my 1955 Chevy with a 1985 Corvette engine and transmission that hadn't run in a year because of an obscure electrical problem, worked on it for weeks diagnosing the problem, ordering parts and it runs fantastic now. Thank you, Peter, Cecil and all of the guys at Hefti!!!
